Yeah I had 2 10" JL Audio subs with fosgate amps behind the back seat of a 93' Blazer full size and I built a wood rear deck that had a 3" gap along the tailgate. For some reason making the base go all the way back to the gate and up through that gap made the bass ROCK HARD

I bounce mine off the rear doors in my van, it is much louder, hits harder than when it was facing forward.
