I'm pretty new so I'm going to ask for help here and see where it goes Is I'm starting with the carb on my problem, punch the gas and it just Doesn't seem to wanna go, it goes, just not very responsive... I have so far done a seafoam both the tank and carb as it says to. I noticed a slight improvement, which gives me hope its the carb. So my next Thing I was troubleshooting was vac lines. None seen cracked or even that old, I'm not sure if everything is hooked up correct. I've compared mine to others I have seen, but none Seem to be an exact match to mine. Here are some pictures please feel free to shoot ANY Info you you see could help me.. im here for help and hard to offend.
I promise I learn fast, just sometimes it takes me a while.
I am not really good with carbs. That does look like the one I have. Mine is a Holly 1945 . Have you checked the throttle and choke linkage ?

Probably needs a carb rebuild. I had an 85 with the slant six as well and it had a dead spot in the carb. I rebuilt it and she ran like a song afterwards. Carb Rebuild Kits from Rock Auto

Make sure all the steel and rubber lines are in good shape as well. I had to replace a steel line on the 85 because it had rusted so bad there were little pin holes and it was sucking air into the fuel lines. I replaced EVERYTHING from the tank to the carb. That solved the fuel starvation problem I was experiencing.
I also got rid of the spark control computer and swapped in a conventional Mopar electronic ignition.
