I have a 1979 dodge van B200 rv van that I'm having a hard time getting tube back on the gas tank, I have a new 0400-2010 rubber grommet. Any one help

Use Vaseline and lube the neck that will go into the rubber. Vaseline will not hurt the rubber and help it slide in place better. I know that sounds bad, that should help.


On a side note, you can use Vaseline on any rubber gasket (rub onto gasket) and set it out in the sun for a few hours and it will swell up also allowing a better fit if the gasket has shrunk over time.
