Some more pics. Been installing some of the 70s kitchen items I have collected over the years. Some shelves for cans and jars, a kitchen towel dispenser/shelf /tea towel hook thing, and a 70s Krups wall mounted weighing scales..... not hugely useful but very cool.

So the interior rebuild continues.

I decided to rebuild the kitchen unit but want to keep the original worktop and stove.
The stove is a cool old ENO brand one in a fantastic shade of orange that I tried to match in the fan I repainted.

The counter top is made from Lustrerock which was a 70s material made from seashell and pebbles trapped in epoxy resin.

So out with the old shoddy 70s unit. To be replaced with a custom one I'm building the same dimensions from extruded aluminium.

The dogleg corner at the rear is to clear the wheelwell.

I'll post up more when it's complete.
Plan is to have the quilted vinyl on two side walls of the unit and mirror faced drawers and cupboards, and LED up lighting inside to shine up through the lusterock worktop.

So a bit more progress on the kitchen unit.
Been making drawers to fit the unit and plumbing back in the sink. Repurposing various things to make the drawers, bedside cabinets, a small filing cabinet and even a winebox.

A few more drawers fitted. The wine box is a drawer and will look a lot more like one when the front is fitted.
