Most of the ones I've seen say it's on the too wide side, with 245 being the upper limit from a handling standpoint. Wider tires will fit but are not generally recommended.
Just so we're on the same page... The first number of the tire size is the tread width in millimeters.
The 70 and 65 in the tire size are the height from the wheel to the tread. It refers to the height of the tire in relation to the width (aspect ratio) and is listed as a percentage.
So, both a 255 70/16 and a 255 65/16 are the same width, with the 255 70/16 being taller (by 5% of 255mm or 12.75mm). | | | Re: 30x9.5x15 | Joined: Jan 2021 Posts: 67 Likes: 6 journeyman | OP journeyman Joined: Jan 2021 Posts: 67 Likes: 6 | Wheel-Size.com it looks up ur factory wheel and then u put in other sizes to compare,,, These are what I got today for $80 for 4.... 16x8 4.5 back space 0 offset So 70's will be ok?

No rubbing in the back, BUT on the front I have to be careful hitting dips in the road or going over speed bumps because the outer wall of the tire will slight rub on the inner lip of the wheel wheel. As with most vans the front track is wider than the rear track.
I just go slow and I don't have any issues.
