No real reason, just kind of went on to other things. My ‘75 is still my daily driver and haven’t done anything more to it since, but drive it. Heater core, non a/c, started leaking few weeks ago and I can’t find one at any part stores, eBay, or any other sites I googled. What’s everyone else using? I realize I’m probably gonna have to get creative and rig something up. Rockauto lists that heater core as in stock, Pro Source 91529, which they show as corresponding with the factory part #3489266. | | | Re: 70’s heater core | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 3,113 Likes: 2 pooh-bah | OP pooh-bah Joined: May 2006 Posts: 3,113 Likes: 2 | I have my heater core at Performance Radiator now as they said they’ll charge me $50 for pressure test and $50 to fix a crack on one of the tubes going into it ( I could see a leak there). I called them and they said it had some other pin hole leaks also. That was a week and a half ago and haven’t heard from them since. Thanks for that part # Meanmachine! When I looked it up on Rockauto that # doesn’t show up. But I press your # in and now see it. I’ll order it and let you know what happens. Thanks again | | | Re: 70’s heater core | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 3,113 Likes: 2 pooh-bah | OP pooh-bah Joined: May 2006 Posts: 3,113 Likes: 2 | Dang it, I waited to long. Autozone carry pro source heater cores, no hit on 91529 on their website though. I bet there are other suppliers too
