Hi All,
I have a dumb question that I couldn't seem to find an answer for when searching the forum. I have a 1990 G30 cutaway chassis that has no box on it. It was built to be a box truck but a box was never installed. It was used indoors as a tow vehicle at a production facility, so the cab/frame are in immaculate shape. I am looking to purchase a new box for it (such as a Unicell ClassicCube), to finally make it a box truck. Unfortunately, I only find companies building boxes for the latest model GM vans.
Does anyone know how drastically the frame width differs between my 1990 G30 and, say, a 2021 GM van? Obviously, I know length and wheelbase will differ depending on model, but I didn't know how greatly the width of the ladder frame would be. Would love to be able to fit a brand new box onto my chassis.
