I'll start, you guys add to the thread with some of your favorite purchases.

So I have been drooling over one of these things for a couple years, finally saved enough ration stamps to get one. One of my smartest tool purchases yet.
I've been sharpening my knives and axes with everything over the years. Wet stones, fancy articulating arm Japanese wet stone things, belt sanders, mini angle die grinders, heck I even have an antique treadle stone if the mood hits right.
This thing is dummy proof and makes super quick work of sharpening tasks when you have a lot of something to go through.
Our kitchen knife set has been neglected and abused for years. I really wish I had taken before and after pics. I sat down and used every grit belt that comes with it, hit all the steak knives, about 30 mins later they're all razor sharp. Then hit my daily driver pocket knife with the last three belts, 5 mins and same results.
They offer three styles. The basic, the "Ken Onion" edition, and the Elite. I got the Elite as it will be more versatile with a few other tools like my axes and hatchets, but tonight I only used the Ken Onion version (elite kit is basically the Ken Onion with an elite attachment thrown in) and it did outstanding.
I'll get some before and after pics next time I fire it up, and I'll post some more tool stuff here later on.
