I bought one of the stock wooden cup holder/coin holder for my 85 vandura. Anyone know how you get the thing to stay put? Do you need to drill holes in the glove box dog house cover and screw the wooden piece to it?

My 76 G10 had it screwed to the doghouse cover. If I do another, I would like to try a strong double sided tape like the Gorilla brand or similar.

Well I screwed it down. First I sanded and stained it and covered all the trays with new cork. Turned out pretty nice I think.

Hey now! I'm liking that cork idea a LOT! You never see cork in a drink holder, but after all the beers I've sat on cork bar coasters over the years, you would think they would all have it. Totally stealing that idea someday. Good looking drink tray man, thanks for sharing.
