This was my daily and I loved it for many years. I had some mechanical issues that caused me to park it in 2014. Well...I decided to drag it out from under the trees a month ago or so and clean out the stuff I was storing inside it for the last seven years and try to bring it back.

I had a seized rear drum , it was black from hackberry trees and took several hours of pressure washing but I got it looking semi respectable. I replaced a lot of the fuel system, the whole cooling system ( and added a junkyard efan) . I cleaned up some van 6" rallies and some truck 8" I had and put some fresh tires on. It is slowly coming around. The steering wheel was thrashed so I swapped a late seventies when I had hanging in the shop. I finally located a decent old grill I could afford on an rv on the other side of the country and started the 71-77 grille swap I always wanted to do. I hacked the core support and used some aftermarket jeep 7" adjustable buckets. Still have to find bezels and come up with, but I'm digging the new look! I forgot how much I loved driving this thing! ♥️😎

Good grief that thing was FILTHY! LOL! I know how that goes, so I'm not judging at all. I swapped heads on my grandpa's 70 C10 about 20 years ago, got it running, but not quite right. Then 3 kids came along, life got in the way, and it has sat ever since. You did a great job getting her clean and the grill looks good man. Keep us posted on how she comes along, good looking van.
