Looking to buy new wheels and tires.

ANY thoughts, comments or input would be great.

I'm looking at 2 options, both using this size tires:

Front - 235/75-15
Back - 255/70-15

Wheel options:

1. Torq-Thrust
Front 15x7 & 3-3/4 Backspacing
Back 15x8-1/2 & 3-13/16 Backspacing

2. Black Baja
Front 15x7 & 3-3/4 Backspacing
Back 15x8 & 3-3/4 Backspacing

I've attached a picture of my van and the wheels.

Thank you!

I like the Torque wheels but I personally would go bigger on the back as the 70 series are lower profile tire than the 75 series and being on a 8" rim will make the back too low. Maybe a 275-70-15 on back and 255-70-15 on front,

Actually the rear tires will be a hair taller, but only slightly. The way the tire numbers work is the 235 or 255 is the width in millimeters, the 75 or 70 is percentage of that width in side wall height, so since the rear are so much wider, that will make up for the percentage differences.

Discount tire website has a handy comparison tool here:

As for wheel options, honest answer I prefer the ones on the van currently. They're unique and you don't see them a ton. Van is clean, maybe just think about having the current rims polished. If I had to choose, I'd go with the Torqs though.

I would like to have the front and back tires to be close in diameter to each other.
235/75-15 = 28.9"
255/70-15 = 29.1"

My current wheels look ok but the passenger side pair have curb rash.

I like the wheels on the van now too. The Torq-Thrust would be cool too.
