I dont even run a pipe behind my heat shields. My exhaust still runs through 40 series Flowmasters and then into the rear of the sidepipe where the pipe would attach to the turnout. much safer with all my kids I have running around. | | | Re: Side pipe surprise | Joined: Jun 2021 Posts: 59 Likes: 8 journeyman | journeyman Joined: Jun 2021 Posts: 59 Likes: 8 | Get rid of the stock cat. putting a high flow cat will wake it up. I'm putting 2 high flow cats with the 80" patriots

If you take the “glass pack†out of the side pipes and straight pipe them, that will give you a little more noise/rumble, or you can wait and the glass will burn out and yo will gain some noise/rumble…in a few years.

Patriot Exhaust is the only current manufacturer of side pipes. It's always an option for the right fabricator to build some though. | | | Re: Side pipe surprise | Joined: Oct 2002 Posts: 3,601 Likes: 10 pooh-bah | pooh-bah Joined: Oct 2002 Posts: 3,601 Likes: 10 | I thought about it, ss pipes are available, just not sure how to add mufflers. | | |
