My rear passenger red side has a small chip. All four would b a great find and please let us know what goodies you were able to save. | | | Re: Some Junkyard Finds | Joined: Jan 2014 Posts: 2,290 Likes: 137 veteran | veteran Joined: Jan 2014 Posts: 2,290 Likes: 137 | Mickey, those side markers are the exact same as the ones on the 68-72 C series trucks. They sell the standard and the deluxe versions here new aftermarket. If you get the deluxe versions, just make sure to superglue the chrome trim on before installing as the factory glue is really weak on those things and the trim rings will fly off going down the highway. They're factory originals. Those must be some cheap ass, lights on that site. I paid $14 apiece when I worked at the Chevy store in 90. | | | Re: Some Junkyard Finds | Joined: Jan 2014 Posts: 2,290 Likes: 137 veteran | veteran Joined: Jan 2014 Posts: 2,290 Likes: 137 | I've had my Beauville side markers for 30 years and never had any fly apart. I'm assuming they probably all come from the same place in Taiwan, but they're definitely not from the factory. | | | Re: Some Junkyard Finds | Joined: Jul 2019 Posts: 11,241 Likes: 412 Post Junkie | Post Junkie Joined: Jul 2019 Posts: 11,241 Likes: 412 | | | | Re: Some Junkyard Finds | Joined: Jul 2019 Posts: 11,241 Likes: 412 Post Junkie | Post Junkie Joined: Jul 2019 Posts: 11,241 Likes: 412 | kursed; What do you think a set of those newer style side chrome mirrors go for even though my 74' ones are very nice; I like the one piece newer ones that are in most of your pics in that junkyard. | | | Re: Some Junkyard Finds | Joined: Sep 2019 Posts: 1,510 Likes: 172 Master Yard Rat | Master Yard Rat Joined: Sep 2019 Posts: 1,510 Likes: 172 | I found a 1973 F100 with disc brakes in a yard today. That’s a direct swap to my E200 suspension but for some reason the bodies are laid onto the ground so I couldn’t even get those parts. Such a bummer.

Block it up on wheels you find laying around. | | | Re: Some Junkyard Finds | Joined: Jul 2019 Posts: 11,241 Likes: 412 Post Junkie | Post Junkie Joined: Jul 2019 Posts: 11,241 Likes: 412 | Tough break Charlie.
