I love colors in general.
Have you passed a new car dealership lately?
50 shades of gray.

So a 3rd Gen Chevy (like the Boogie Machine one I did in red?) with pipes and hugger orange. I can do that, but it'll be a while. Flares?

Yep, whole lots of nothing but boring. Wife and I have been daydreaming of a 2020 Chrysler Pacifica in "Velvet Red Pearl".

How about a 65' Impala Station Wagon as an alternative? A guy out here has an immaculate one that ; I believe he wants 35K or 40K; can't remember at the moment ; so nice.

No flares....and from your picture on the first page of this, it APPEARED orange, not red. She's not orange yet, but WILL be at some point. I know I have posted these before but figured I'd just attach them anyway. I sprayed the brake drums the color I plan on having laid down. And it's not a 3rd gen, it's what I believe is a 2nd. '73.

I think the early Chevys were 1st and 2nd, but could be wrong.

1st was 64-66
2nd was 67-70
3rd was 71-95

Yeah man, I can whip something cool up in orange eventually. Just have a full workload right now.

Leakbox: where did you get your side pipes and what length are they? Charlie turned me on to Patriot Exhaust. It looks like most ads are too short and it looks like the ones for my 74' G10 Shorty are the 83" long and 3 1/2 diameter ones. I spoke with a cool guy name Mitchell where I can pick them up direct in Irwindale. They were on back order until end of this month for 464.53 + tax.

What is the length on yours ? I had a set of Doug Thorley's back in the day on my original 74', Great look and sound. chevy

Are you measuring the "entire length of the side pipes" or just the straight pipe? I believe I was measuring from right behind the front tire where front door starts behind front tire to just in front of rear tire.
