The Worst. Yesterday I was trouble shooting my no dash lights in my 74' G10; driving to auto parts store hoping it was the fuse; opened my wing window for "1st time" and the base swivel mechanism broke; The Worst !

The wing vent looks great ; however it sat so long with no use; it looks like there is a small nut ( no jokes Rusty ) at the base of the wing window.

Can this be repaired? Any info is greatly appreciated.

I need to replace both mine, or rebuild them with scrapyard wings. Vanning Mike did a good YouTube video on removing them and some other issues with Chevy Doors, I'll link it below. There is a guy selling some on the Facebook groups for astronomical prices, but I think you could get some way cheaper in the junkyards. Should be the same from 71 all the way to 95.
