No windows always a plus, not sure about the price, but a paint job would make this van a bad-ass real beauty.

Man, the paint looks fantastic in the first few pictures, then there's all that peeling in the later ones.
That's too bad.

Rusty, I thought the same, like what a nice paint job, and than them I saw last couple pics, at least the guy is honest enough that he didn't try to hide the defects. I have looked at many vehicles over the last 45 years that the seller said were excellent or mint condition, just to arrive and be quite disappointed. A couple years ago a guy had a 76 Dodge van listed in my local paper, he said mint, like new condition, one-of-a-kind, the thing was a total piece of crap in fair condition, no interior, except a shower curtain separating the driver's area from the rear compartment. He didn't know what to say when I came pulling in his driveway in my Mid.

I hate that stuff.
I'd rather undersell it in the ad then have people excited when they see it rather than have them come out and be disappointed.
I went out to see a '72 Dart recently...
The guy had neglected to post a picture of the right rear quarter that was pushed in.

Cool van. Don't believe priced right. And I hear you guys about the "Truth-less" posts. What's worst is when you take " a flight" out of state; take of work and the same B.S. happens. The Worst ! curse

This is the kind of thing that I'm after although I think there is a slightly longer one which would be even better, 135" wheelbase iirc. How much would you guys say is a fair price for a van like this? $15K seems OK to me but it's hard for me to put a value on American vehicles because we get ripped off for anything to with cars over here in the UK!

It's hard to say...

Lately the prices have been soaring into crazy land.
The prices for 4x4s were already high, but lately, just regular vans that I think would be around $3,500 are being listed for $10,000.
I don't know if they're pulling that kind of money, but it makes me feel a little lost, so I can't say what a fair price would be.
I'm a car hobbyist and buy several cars a year, and even though the price jump thing has sort of happened across the board in the last year, the vans seem to have jumped more.

If its what you want dont hesitate to contact him/her ... Its a little high but not a bad price for a 4X .. that 4X ft end cost 12K new.

But the rust under bothers me .. and I have seen them go for A LOT more. All depends how bad you want it.

Thanks for the feedback. Interesting to know, I wonder why? Just my luck, I've very recently decided this is something I'd like to pursue!

Yeah I guess when you put it like that 15k isn't too bad. Exchange rate makes it just shy of 11k in quids. I also hadn't noticed the rust so thanks for pointing that out. Rusty parts can always be replaced.

I honestly wasn't expecting something so suitable to come up available so soon! I've been scouring the web for a few months and thinking it will take a while to find the right van. I work with an American guy here in Italy. We're both returning to our home countries this summer and he has said when he gets back he'll be my man on the ground to check the vans out and facilitate the shipping for me - he's a good guy and a massive petrol head although he's told me he doesn't get my van love! You either do or you don't I suppose!
