The Van Diego East County description cracked me up.
Despite frying a bunchalotta brain cells, I do remember the following, and, so. Please excuse the story.
I rented from a Car guy who knew the guy with the property North of the 8 in East County with the the big American Flag, right at the big bridge where you can see the water on El Cap. Big Car guy too. He made a Replica of the Bridge of a Ship, that you could climb on like a Jungle Jim. Had all kinds of cool ship shit, because he worked a shipyard, and he had a Van. Shhh.
Owner Guy was an avid Mopar collector, with over a dozen insanely cool Chrysler cars, including 2 winged cars. He threw a Yearly 4th of July party to honor Veterans and put on a Killer USO show. The guy at the gate was strapped. They put out an awesome spread.
At least a Dozen other Old Cars were driven down, and gawked at, Ford Woody, Rods, Wagons. Cool Chevys, more Mopars. I had the only Van, the Cabin Cruiser.
Mr. 1911 45 at the gate asked. "Dude, you planning on staying a spell?" Me, "Ha! I guess I could,, um Well no, this is the only Classic Mopar I own." "Good answer, follow me!" There was at least 300 people there, Including Duke Cunningham. He made a joke about following building code on the East County. 😆
Right up to the top, the Roar of the mighty 360 parted the crowd as the B350 crested the hill and we pulled on up to the upper pad,, with a commanding view, right under the huge American flag, El Cap shimmering in the distance, looking out the side door. At least Dodge makes the side doors the same. Cabin Crusrr is luxury on wheels, especially after a Party. Good Choice.
That was one helluva good party. Yeah that Van wasn't going anywhere until morning.
Van On.
