I know, I know, I'd rather have the panel but hey. I found a 69 Torino wagon too. How rare is that? Hey 1959!!

$10,000?

Makes me really regret passing on the '57 Ford Ranch Wagon I nearly bought last summer.

Cool Wagon. I've never heard of a Brookwood. My brother Joe had a 1958 2-door Impala with the 348. It was the same one in American Graffiti movie. It was sweet and had Factory power windows. It was Viking Blue with blue and white interior. Man it would be a fortune today. I had many Chevys ; however one of my 3 Fords was a 1972 Gran Torino with the 429. I also Had a 1965 Mustang and a 1967 Fastback. The Fastback was insane and I wrecked it racing a Vette.

I hear you. I had a opportunity in 1972 to buy my neighbors dad's 1956 2 door Nomad ( awesome Factory green ) for $600.00. For the life of me it could of been a million dollars and I couldn't come up with the money in time. They were moving and he needed the $ quick. The same thing happened in 1976 with a 1969 Gold Stingray from a retired Navy man; as I was pulling up; he was shaking the hand of the first guy that came to see it.

Hey put the Powers at be shined upon me last October and "I" was the 1st guy to see and buy my 1974 G10 Shorty : Original Owner with 36,241 miles ! cheers

I am admittedly biased! The 58s are cool but I think that car is overpriced at 10k. Who knows whats lurking below that old paint job. I think you could find a similar quality car for half the price.

Brookwoods were the bottom of the line trim-wise and 58 wagon parts can be hard to find. Also 58 wagons don't get the accolades of the tri-5s or the 59/60s. The Holy Grail is a 59 Sedan Delivery. Let me know when you find one.

I have zero knowledge about 69 Torinos except they are probably fun with a big FE.

Hey 1959, Gentlemen. Good Day all! On Craigslist, I just start in Lubbock and work my way West. I think the Torino Wagon was around Phoenix. Lol 😆

Knowing you and Rusty and lots of other Vanners, are into Cars too, I agree with the assessment on prices.

Rabbit sez El Camino and the early newer 5.0 Mustangs are the lower priced collector cars currently. It's crazy what collector cars sell for. I wish I could've kept all my cars, Especially the 59, and 60 Impalas. And of course the 61 Olds Super 88, and my 65 Chevy Impala. Would've been a sweet retirement plan Ha!

Cool car.
My neighbor had a '56 Nomad that he'd restored to show quality.
It was super cool.
He passed away a few years ago...
I don't know what happened to the car.

I've had like 60 cars (we have 13 right now, all but 2 run and drive).
I haven't had a lot of stuff that people clamber over, but some of it has really shot up in price lately.
I don't wish I still had any of them.
I bought them cheap...
I enjoyed them while I had them...
I wouldn't have wanted to store them this long anyway. lol
