Are these side windows or sunroofs? They have a sunroof lip but only one arm for raising them up. The seller has them advertised as windows, but I wanted to see what you guys thought. He has had them for awhile, I think his price is very high on them.

They are sunroofs. I probably installed over 200 of them back in the '70's. I put one in my brand new '75 Econoline. My girlfriend asked if I could put one in her Toyota. Done. My roommate wanted one in his Cutlass. My younger brother helped me do all three. He got the idea that this was easy weekend money. He made flyers and put them on windshields at the mall. Local van shop made me a killer deal for buying multiple sunroofs. Brother and I were doing 6-8 installs every Saturday all summer and spring ( until snow started in NY ) at $100 profit each vehicle. Paid off my loan on the '75 ( $5,300) along with Cragars and other mods.

Yeah, that's what I thought also because I have a side window with a different lip and edge.

Not in a junkyard but a fenced off yard behind a strip mall. It was a daily last year for an older couple. I think they own the lot. Two busted windows on it.

Finally got to wander through a couple local yards today. Beautiful day for it too. Found a few things I could use, grabbed a doghouse cover and a free hammer today, going back to get the plastic interior trim (see my build thread for that stuff). Figured I'd share some fun pics.

Not much left on this shorty, tons of people out there looking for one, and here one sits in a scrapyard.

Good Dodge Sheetmetal

I'm thinking about grabbing the table pedestal out of this one if it's there next time I go back.

Whole row of PT Cruisers

I see very few Aerostars on the road anymore in my area, much less a sweet cargo version like this one.

Another stack of parts getting recycled. I could watch them crush this junk all day as long as they leave the classic steel alone.

Pop-outs all the way around.

This is the one I'm grabbing the plastic trim, doghouse, and wing windows from. Has some decent headlight bezels inside if anyone needs some.

Too rich for my blood.

Red punch buggy no punch back! Plenty of good Astros all over this yard. Some in the distance of this pic.
