lol

They're acting like it was a car that was a movie character, like the General Lee, KITT, or the Back to the Future DeLorean.
It's just a van that was at the test track or whatever in a somewhat decent film.

It looks almost new on the outside, but looks like a regular driver on the inside and under the engine cover.

I could probably do $10K

There was an article in my local newspaper a couple days ago, a guy who lives about 25 miles from me owns 1 of 2 of the original Knight Rider KITT cars and he recently purchased a 35 year old computer that was used on the movie sets in Hollywood that documented the VIN numbers of vehicles used. He found the VIN to the tractor trailer that hauled KITT and it was setting on a farm in Idaho and he contacted the farmer and bought it. The farmer had no idea of the history of the truck.

That's freaking awesome!

As to the Econoline, yeah that price is a bit on the dreamy side. Zero interest.

Nice van. Ad states "no reserve at an auction estimate of $30K-$40K". Unbelievable. Man it's a shame they cut the dash and installed a din radio.

Someone is seeing big $$$ for a van that may have been in the movie for a matter of seconds. I saw the movie and missed seeing it, I was hoping to see a Shelby Econo in it. I'm pretty sure that the producers may have cheaped out on the van too, as I don't recall Shelby having a Supervan in any of the photos that I've seen online.

I can't imagine something like a van in a side shot being exactly correct considering all the liberties they took with the story.
