Hello all, My 13 year old son and I are restoring his 1976 Dodge B300 Santana camper van. Currently we are tackling brakes and the gauge cluster with pretty good success. Having moved from running the van off of a fuel can near the doghouse (360 with 2 barrel) to moving a fuel can back to the tank. We pulled the sending unit / pickup and it is corroded beyond belief. I was able to find some parts to possibly save this, however, it looks like there may be a crack in the top of the plastic (36? gallon) fuel tank. We have not been able to find a source for this tank. That being said, we will just convert to a steel 22 gallon tank, however, with the gaining popularity of the B series 1971-77 vans, the salvage yards are picked free of parts. We are asking for some help with locating the fuel filler tube and s shaped pre formed rubber fuel connector. The tank, straps, sending unit and filler neck ( believe the one in it will work) are readily available. The short piece of steel pipe (please see attached diagram and circled part), is not. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
