Does anyone have a verified source for a new filler strip for the windshield rubber seal? I am talking about a 88 Dodge B250 if it makes a difference. One of my other (british) cars has the same set up and the chrome filler strip is very affordable but I think this one is a different profile; even that car you have to be careful to get the right shape as several are available. I have even got the special tool to put it in with ready to go. For the van I don't really car if it is chrome or rubber, anything would be better than the sun damaged one I have now.

That was a right pain!
My proper tool wasn't the right one for that seal, my other cars the locking strip is all inside so that is how the tool delivers it, this one only the back section is. My thumbs hurt! The corners re the worst. I used a combination of a hook shaped pick, the special tool I have (on its side) and some window lube spray which really helped on the side/top/bottom.
