Hi everyone, I'm have trouble getting my 76 B100 into park, I have to try multiple times to get it to stick. Anyone know the part that would cause this to happen?

Look up under the floor, beneath where the driver seat is. There's a stirrup-like assembly in the linkage. Be certain that the press-fit Nylon pivots at either end of it are actually seated fully in their mounting holes. If they pop out, the linkage will still move, but become sloppy, leading to such problems as what you're experiencing. I'd always check that area prior to attempting to adjust the linkage at the transmission.

Thanks so much Ram4ever! That turns out to be the problem
