As I shared with you on my "new" 1974 has a primo martin sun roof. My "first" had a Martin as well. I was blown away my current has the same model and looks new. | | | Re: Some Junkyard Finds | Joined: Jul 2019 Posts: 11,241 Likes: 412 Post Junkie | Post Junkie Joined: Jul 2019 Posts: 11,241 Likes: 412 | Just saw pics. Nice score. Where was the yard located ? I've never seen a Martin sun roof with one crank. Mine has two cranks like my first one back in the day. Those seats will definitely look very nice redone and I'm surprised you left the wing and visor on the dodge. Man you could open up a Stop & Swap Charlie ! | | | Re: Some Junkyard Finds | Joined: Sep 2019 Posts: 1,510 Likes: 172 Master Yard Rat | Master Yard Rat Joined: Sep 2019 Posts: 1,510 Likes: 172 | There's a 1965 Econoline short panel that was just released to Newark CA Pick N Pull on 1/7/21. I haven't visited as it is too far out of my way but it might be worth checking out for someone looking.

Here they hardly ever have vans and they are all 2005 or newer (they are quick to crush everything....especially if it is over 20 years old). I would be in those yards all the time if they were near me!!! | | | Re: Some Junkyard Finds | Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 18,286 Likes: 559 | Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 18,286 Likes: 559 | Cali realized rust is as good as gold ... but once the yard is cleaned out by one of us .... Not to many old ones show up .
Ive never seen a Old Show Van in my yards...

Pick N Pull has a website and inventory with pics for all of its yards. I check it from time to time and plan my trips.

The guy is clearing out his huge barn, garage, storage trailers, and vehicle collections. Clearing out may be a generous term because his prices don’t reflect that, but hey. I happen to see this old GMC/Chevy panel that was converted to a trailer off to my side. Total shame because the Solar Scoop was rotted and cracked. Still pretty cool though. i wonder what the deal was on the volkswagons | | |
