I don't see specific forum for this kind of question so I'll throw it out here. I want to put side pipes on my 75 Voyager shorty and not sure what length I should go with. I will be putting flares on. Does any one else have side pipes on a shorty (Mopar or GM) with flares that has a measurement? And maybe a side picture? It looks like my only choice is Patriot brand, witch I think I read some place that they are a spin-off of Walker Exhaust. They have lengths available in 50, 60, 70 and 80 inch. I'm thinking the 60 inch would be about right.I can go measure my van because I'm about 7000 miles away from it but I'm still buying parts for it so I can get to work on it when I get home. Thanks for the help.

At one time I had Thrush Sidekicks on a 74 Dodge Shorty and Thrush on my 76. I will try to find a couple old photos and post.

I posted a pic of my 74 with sidepipes on in Reader's Rides. I believe they were either 60 or 63". I just measured between the wheel wells, and 70" would be tight with flares. Got a couple more pics to post, I just need to figure out how to rotate them.

I have a short Ford with 60" pipes. Personally, I think anything longer is going to be tough to do. On the Ford my suspension prevents anything longer.

And so on. Don't use the install kit the Patriot pipes come with. The lag bolts are trash. Instead I picked up some angle iron from the local hardware store, drilled that and then welded to the underside. No problems and I can pull on it all day without worrying.

This town ain't big enough for the both of us
And it ain't me who's gonna leave
