hi all
I just ruined my extended slider arm because I'm a dumb ass. Looking for the extended slider to clear the rear wheel. I put the oem short one on temporarily but the door only opens 3 inches
hahaha

I went to a welder today, he was not at all confident he could make a strong enough weld. he said he could weld around the perimeter, where the two ends meet, but it would not be strong enough

The threaded ends make for an easy opportunity to use a fixture while welding.

If you can come up with two stock ones you will only need one weld joint, and have identical materials and profiles to work with.
