Its the lock nut that holds the headlight switch to the dash. The new switches don't come with this nut or the actual button that activates the switch. Rearcounter.com shows the guy in Arizona having 5 of them, $8.00 each. Real nice person to deal with, I have bought parts off him over the last 20 years, just talked to him in October, he had been closed for several months. That part also fits the Dodge pickups of that time period if you know of any salvage yards with trucks sitting around.
