just picked up a 1995 GMC vandura 2500 with 168.000 miles on her. I really wanted a much older cargo van. but trying to find a nice fully loaded cargo van these days are almost impossible. since I plan on going to a few van runs, I definitely wanted full power options , cruise control ,and air. I also wanted ABS brakes and overdrive tranny. so that left me with the last few years of the G20/2500 series run. A 350 engine was also a must have for me, so this what I found that met all of my needs. mechanically everting works. the exterior needs a little work, it has a rust spot by the drivers side windshield just above the wiper arm and a rust bubble on the rear corner of the roof just above the rail that needs to be fixed soon before it gets worse. the seats are in great shape. but the carpet is completely trashed. immediate plans are two new more modern captians seats and new carpet. future plans are new wheels and tires, proper fender flares, and filing in the conversion van windows. anyway, her she is.

Welcome! I like conversion windows, although most folks here don't. They're really expensive, so definitely sell them if you ever do take them out. Personally I'd just get 3M limo tint on em and call it done, but to each their own!

Don't I know it!! I had one get busted out of my 93 and of course the local glass shops were clueless. I ended up getting ahold of "Capt. Kurk" Collis at Custom Van in PA and he hooked me up with a new window. $350 plus $100 installation! Not cheap, but I really had no choice.
Now I carry broken glass insurance coverage on the van!
