I had to do the same. I scored mine on ebay a while back. NOT cheap, and not perfect either, but definitely better than what I had. I'll keep my eye out for anything if I happen to find one that comes into a yard.

Thank you Leakbox . I thought a set from LMC truck would work and kursed clued me in that they only "look" the same size. I suppose you could custom make a pivot and weld it in or ???. My windows and framing look good. Don't know what lies underneath.
Essentially NOTHING from the C-Series trucks fit these old girls. He's right. I even made the silly mistake of looking and figuring that the headlight bezels would be the same, so I ordered a set of those. Wrong. The truck ones are about 4/5 scale. I guess the custom fab route is an option. I have had mine in and out probably a half dozen times. Reading my manual it explains in simple terms: do this then that, turn this way, move a bit, and remove.....yeah RIGHT. It is worse than a Rubik's Cube to get them in and out without jacking up the metal along the bottom edge of the window opening. IF I had paint there, God only knows what it would look like. I have resorted to grinding away a TON of metal on the down post. The webbed corner gussets, area around the bottom mounting hole, etc. in an attempt to be able to remove and install them without gouging things. Whether it was a smart move or not, I guess time will tell. I just don't want to mar a new paint job once it is done by trying to re-install them. Maybe someone else out there has a better plan or tricks to employ.
kursed turned me onto a video by "vanning Mike" ( ? ). My knuckles hurt just thinking about it. Do you believe that the pivot mechanism that broke at the base of wing vent window could be customized with a new/refurbed piece ?
Mickey pretty much ANYTHING can be customized or fabbed. It is just a matter of time and cost. I think you still may be better off scouring the web and junkyards for replacements????
Found a piece of 6061 aluminum and had the guys shear it to size. Hand filed the corners and did a bit of sanding just to see what I thought. I have to say I like the look, with the contrast as well as the tie in with the drink holders. However, I am apprehensive about reflection, and also the slippery nature of bare metal. Also, even with clear coating it I could see it scratching. The jury is out as I contemplate.
I appreciate all the advice. That center piece looks cool. I wonder if some type of "heavier" metal that would match your cup holders would be less scratch resistant.
