Their pricing was higher than this place, around $2.15 a square foot. I dig it.
*EDIT*
I was going to start cutting and installing furring strips in the morning. It turns out the painter was able to take it in a bit early. Nice. Looks like I'll be working on polishing parts from home instead.

I switched from BF Goodrich a few years ago to the Coopers. Great improvement in ride and no road noise. Lately I have been seeing a lot of pics of vans with Cooper's on them. Basically there is not to many choices for white letter tires anymore. It is either BF Goodrich or Cooper. | | | Re: 1969 Econoline Shorty | Joined: Jul 2019 Posts: 11,372 Likes: 427 Post Junkie | Post Junkie Joined: Jul 2019 Posts: 11,372 Likes: 427 | I use to run Mickey Thompsons back in the day. These Coopers were a bit cheaper than the BFs so I’m really looking forward to them. I’ve driven the van around town where it’s stored, so far so good. *edit* I just scored a NOS Venturi Vent for way less than what they go for. I now have a spare for when mine breaks down the road.

I would hate to get caught without a replacement when it breaks or gets damaged. That’s why I have multiple windows for my van, people get off at the sounds of breaking glass. I finally picked up my $30 grille today. It’s straight and polished up well but it does have scratches and gouges in it. I figure this winter I’ll take all my aluminum to a polisher. I’m not great at sanding and polishing aluminum despite practicing.

It is way straighter than my other one. But it has scuffs and scratches that the other one doesn’t. I’ll probably run the other one after I polish it up. I had really like the Glory Grilles but it’ll depend of how far I take this restoration. SO far it leaves me with one '69 grille that is in good daily shape, and two '74 grilles in the same daily driver shape. They all need some sanding and a polish to be perfect.
