While I have my dash apart I decided it would be a good time to add an ignition kill switch but am unsure of which wire to tap into to add the toggle switch.

The yellow runs to my neutral safety switch but I can't tell where the red and pink wires are going. The wiring diagram I have that is supposedly for a '78 must be wrong because it shows a purple and green wire too, which my van does not have.

Any ideas?

Crickets...

At any rate, I figured it out. Putting a toggle on the pink wire disables the starter.
