This aids greatly with asking the counter person at the parts counter to do a search. And the exploded diagrams really kick ass.

A wealth of info in this manual. | 1 member likes this:

I suspect the last 3 digits are a production code, not sure. I have a Mopar Parts Catalog that explains a lot of the numbers and coding. | | | Re: 1978-81 Van Mopar Parts Catalog | Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 336 enthusiast | enthusiast Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 336 | looks exactly like the original. i installed it and the motor turned thru all settings but i am still not getting full force of air. getting ready to remove the motor and see what i find. i did find leaves in the rubber tube that goes from the duct work to the bottom of the motor. it was pretty full. might just go ahead and change motor. i saw where it has been replaced before. the red wire does go to power and the dark to ground.my other thought was that maybe the foam that connects the various connections might be a problem. i did find some that literally fell to pieces when i touched it but i thought that the defrost setting would not make much difference in the flow to the defrost. i would expect the other settings to be low with finding the foam gaskets (?) in pieces that connect to the dash board. so i will check the motor and the ductwork it sits in, check for leave blockage in the cage the motor sits in. irritating. thought this would fix it with the replacement resistor. guess i have multiple issues here. maybe the squirrel cage came off the motor....just a thought. hey, thanks for all your comments. its almost camping time and i want to get it going. | | |
