Love just thinkin about it! | | | Re: short bus and long bus.. | Joined: Oct 2015 Posts: 763 Likes: 50 old hand | old hand Joined: Oct 2015 Posts: 763 Likes: 50 | is there a tank and compressor required for those horns? | | | Re: short bus and long bus.. | Joined: Sep 2016 Posts: 145 Likes: 8 member | OP member Joined: Sep 2016 Posts: 145 Likes: 8 | for now ive got the horns air line stubbed up inside so i can plug it in to my lil 6 gallon pancake pressor i use for work.....when a lil more time and money comes around i will be mounting an air tank under van along side frame.....theres a spot there thats good for a tank 12inches x 40 inches and will be out of sight.....as far as an onboard 12 volt pressor,im still researching that one....i looked these horns up on leslie horns website....they are audible 3-3.5 miles...........frikin loud as hell...with the lil 6 gallon tank at 120 psi i get just a few short blasts..........they really come to life with 140 psi with my larger shop pressor...lots of fun | | |
