I removed the stereo in the GMC a few years back. We never used it and we had rather talk about the things we see as we ride. I made a little cubby hole type storage spot where the radio used to be.
In the Chevy we have the factory AM/FM w/cassette and it makes a great clock. grin

For the first 2 years I owned my G20 it didn't have a radio so I got used to the soothing drone of the Flowmaster muffler. Recently I finally put a CD player in so now I'll have some tunes. lol

I had 1965 Chevy panel van back in 1974, no radio. Used to have a big battery operated AM/FM radio taped to the engine cover between the seats. The Good Old Days of roughing it. There was a station out of Chicago (WCFL) at the time that played good rock music that I could pick up here in the mountains of PA.
