Not yet, but it will! My other B200 both do.

Meanmachine, I tried cross-referencing this part number, and had some luck: Part #3733605

It wasn't an exact match, but it was close.

But I ended up taking my radiator to a shop, as it had some damage. My mechanic was worried that it wasn't the correct radiator for the van. and apparently it isn't. The guy at the radiator shop checked the numbers. He also called around, and couldn't find the correct one for my van.

Does anyone know where I can get a Dodge B200 radiator for a 400 with AC?

I'm starting the hunt...

You'll find one right between a rainbow colored unicorn and Jack's magic beans.

Uh oh...

That doesn't sound too promising, Captain.

If only my van had a 318 or 360...

I've already replaced so much, I would hate to even consider an engine swap at this point. I do worry about the 400's parts availability down the road. Surely there is one that would work okay. Maybe the 440 equipped vans used the same radiator?

Drop in replacement parts are not always an option anymore.
I'm frankly surprised so many parts for 30+ year old vehicles ARE available.

As long as a radiator fits the space, and has adequate thickness/ cooling capacity, it can be made to work, and perhaps the inlet can be positioned where a flex hose can work.

One can put a big old spring in a flex hose to keep it from kinking. They often are installed in the lower hose which can collapse under high rpms, but no reason they cannot be used in the upper hose to prevent kinking.

Some mechanics are simply parts replacers and cannot fathom how to make something that does not just drop in.. work.

A Mexican would laugh at a perfectly good vehicle being trashed because no drop in radiator or radiator hose could be found.

Its nice to not have to macguyver something, but successful macguyverisms are highly rewarding.

Any 400 or 440 with factory A/C will be the same radiator (inlet on passenger's side, the odd way). Aftermarket/dealer installed A/C uses a different radiator (inlet on driver's side, the normal way). They made a 2 core and 3 core version. One of my spares that I have at home will need to be re-cored before it can be used again. That'll be a solid $400 to get it done, expensive but I might spend that much traveling all over hitting salvage yards just to find one that needs the same treatment. SO if things get desperate and you can find a bad rad with the right top tank a good radiator shop can swap that tank over.

Part #3733605 is listed for 1974-77 Dodge Trucks. Have you went to your local Chrysler Parts Department. They can run a nationwide search through their computer parts search. You never know what is laying in a backroom for years. I have found several parts for my Mid that way. The main problem with these parts departments is most of the workers were born years after these vans were manufactured and they are usually so busy, they don't want to take the time to do the search. I was fortunate enough to know a guy who had worked at a local Dodge garage for over 50 years and he would routinely search for a list of part numbers I had gave him. Every once in a while he would call that an obsolete part had become available.

No joke, this is how I found rubber bushing for the shift linkage on my 1965 Barracuda. It was 3 on the tree, no generic bushings would work. Found them up in Montana and they had been sitting there since 1964...

Charlie, I was passing through Ohio a few years ago, seen an older Dodge-Plymouth dealership and stopped a gave a parts guy a list of part numbers for Mid-Dodges. After a while the manager of the parts department came out of an office and said they had a shelf of old Mid parts in a warehouse across the highway and asked if I would be interested in buying all the stuff as he would like to write the stuff off and delete from the computer system as they had laid on a top shelf for many years. He was a concerned I might not want the parts, being the boxes had become dirty, corners crushed and a few had been opened and resealed. He said I could have it all I think was around $50. I got NOS side mirrors, front and rear sidemarker lights, rear license plate lamp, taillight lenses, and a few other miscellaneous items. I didn't want to sound to excited to him, knowing what a steal I got, but I was like a little kid on Christmas morning.
