Does it work fine for a while with a new ECM, then the stalling issue crop up again a few months later?

The weight of the wire bundles leading to ECM/PCM must not hang on the connector itself or they will break the solder joints where the pin attach to the circuit board leading to intermittent issues.

Get some of this:

No other electrical contact cleaner can compare, but they are good for flushing out old crusty dielectric grease before using the $$ DeoXit d5. Its not going to fix broken solder joints, but in many ways it does seem to work as magic electric juice

Follow the black cable from battery (-) to firewall and to engine block. INsepct, remove wirebrush shiny and reattach.

Your issues could be fuel pump or ignition coil related too

When it cuts off all gauges don't work and the mileage reading says no bus

Tom...under the hood on the rad support is the fuse box that holds all the relays and such. They are notorious for getting corrosion build-up inside. It's called the TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module). That may be your issue since you're losing all power.

"The Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM) is the gateway or distribution box for nearly the entire electrical system in late model Chrysler products. Its main purpose is to take the commands from various switches and other modules and send those commands in the form of voltage or ground to wherever it needs to go."---from Google

Thanks nate couple weeks ago we added extra ground wire and it ran great I put it out 600 miles on it and then the weather started getting warmer and when the weather started getting warmer it started cutting off again but I will check that fuse box to make sure that they are not corroded and when I get hot I'm sure they expand or something thanks for replying

When the van quits running all gauges go to zero but there's still power to lights and radio
