Correct me if I'm wrong; isn't the Factory GM antenna on the passenger side ? And I'm not digg n' the placement of whip antenna. Looks straight though, Definitely a good starting point; just can't deal with anything older than 1975 out here due to Smog laws; The Worst !

Not true my 454's have passed for almost 30 yrs now ... EVERY TIME... never failed ..

I think he means bringing an out of state 76 and newer vehicle to CA and dealing with smog stuff that more than likely is not on an out of state van. My 79 360 with cams and headers always passed CA too because it had 50 state legal smog components

Well my 92 was a Cedar Rapids van I drove home and it passed smog the next day .... Mickey is reading more into the smog than there is ..

I've passed on some really nice 1976 and newer vans that had super clean engine swaps or were built with performance mods and so many have told me to stay away. No doubt there are some nice newer vans; I just miss the deal or they want crazy money. I remember that gorgeous Viper Red G10 in Wisconsin that had the newer Vortec Crate Motor with performance parts and everyone told me to stay away and it wasn't worth the headache and $$$$$ to be spent. That was such a Primo Van and he was asking $14K. Heck the Motor and Paint alone were worth that.
