While I am a vanner, my heart belongs to classics. I’ve wanted one of these since I was 16. Found an extremely solid Texas car that lived its last few years up near Seattle with an older gentleman. Paid the man a very fair sum for a nice original car and drove it 200 miles without any issue except a slightly low idle and a touch rich is an easy fix. Anyways, I know others love and have old cars here too so I am happy to share.

Thanks for sharing.
I've always liked the crazy dash on those cars.

I spent the past week replacing all the brakes on my '67 Galaxie 500.
Almost everything new except the hard lines, and spreader bars.

Beautiful old ride, what size motor. The good old days when vehicles were built like a tank and made to last. I have owned quite a few of the 60's and 70's cars and many of them had well over 200,000 miles on them when I sold them. Like Rusty said, the dashes on some of these cars were so huge and instrument panels were a thing of beauty with all the fancy knobs and gauges.

That’s an awesome vehicle too. I love 60s Fords!

Meanmachine - it’s a factory 390 big block w/300hp (but also weighs 4500lbs!)

I had a 64 Bonnieville it was a monster a 4 door lead sled ...

Yeah, my Galaxie is a four door.
It's huge!
390, automatic, A/C, floats like a cloud...
It's great for toting friends around, but the hot rod guys give me guff.

I thought about selling it and a good friend instantly called dibs on it...
So...
He's getting a '67 Galaxie.

I've always been a fan of the 64-66 Thunderbirds and their cockpit interiors. They scream for white walls, polished hubcaps, and an airbag kit. Good buy!

You must have seen my list of things to do Charlie! That’s really all it needs besides some detailing. It’s got 138k, very well sorted and drives nice. Best part is that these things still are cheap and can be found in very solid condition
