I can't offer any opinion on the Fords, but I can on the Dodges. I've owned many Dodge vans ranging from 60's models up to the 90's models. The most reliable vehicle I've owned was my old 1994 B250 with the 5.2L Magnum V8 (which is a 318). It had well over 200K and still ran like a top when I got rid of it. Unfortunately the rust worms got to her because of the salt used in the winter months.

What years you looking for?? You didn't say.
We owned a Ford 3rd gen for about 25+ years. Liked the flat floor boards for comfort while driving. It would pass everything on the road but a gas station. Really loved the old girl and drove it all over.
I got too old to be skinning my knuckles all the time so I got a GMC. grin

We never owned a Dodge. Had a Dodge belt buckle once. It musta been made out of a real Dodge cause it didn't work and it rusted pretty quick. worms

lol

What I know is Dodge N Ford are a little less expensive but those brands wernt so good at making spare parts and changed the body N under carriage style often.... Chevys are a little more pricy but GM made a ton of spare parts and alot of those parts are interchangeable G10 G20 G30 71 thru 85 and 85 thru 95 the uni body body style didnt change much over the decades.

So you pay for the van now or pay in spare parts to fix up your baby later....

I have had 2 Chevys and 2 Dodges. Chevys are easy to get parts for but I love the look of the Mid Dodge (just my personal choice). Both have been very reliable.

I've owned one Chevy and two Dodge vans, and a bunch of 3rd gen Fords. I prefer the Fords because they feel more spacious in the cab area. More leg room, more foot room without that wheelwell bump.
