Adjust the shoes up tight until the drums don't spin, then loosen just enough until the drums can be spun by hand.

The manual says to let the auto adjusters do their thing but I am not 100% convinced they are working. Need to go and get an adjuster tool, I suppose.

Swivel seats are DONE! Making the seat belts fit/work correctly was more trouble than fitting the seats.

We scored a nice condition original bumper jack and lug wrench, which I used to get at the drum brakes for manual adjustment.

Noisy A//C compressor: Silent when it's not on; Sometimes quiet even when it is on; Gets quiet if the engine is revved even a little bit - i.e. it only rattles at idle.

Thoughts?

Sounds like the clutch is going bad. You may be able to just replace that instead of the whole compressor. Clutch/pulley kits are available.

Daughter purchased a stereo with connection for a reversing camera - so of course she wanted one. Got it mounted high up on the camper top, alongside an LED floodlamp, hooked to the reversing lamps:

Made and fitted a new speedometer needle as the old one had snapped off. Gently shaved away much of a spray can straw on my bench grinder to arrive at the right shape and make it as light as possible:

Did you put the top dash back on, does the stereo pop out and up and fit correctly? I’ve been thinking about doing that style but the dash angles back

I made a wooden spacer to set the stereo about 1-1/2" proud of the dash. Had to cut a couple of new tabs in the stereo "cradle" (not sure of the correct term - the metal bracket it slots into) to fit it, but it looks good and it's plenty secure.

Lots of progress in the last two days. They are almost ready to hit the road.
Got the house battery and related charging/distribution all wired up. Just a charge monitor to add.:

A few cabinets and bed to finish installing (all ready and waiting to screw in.)
