Got long tubes on my 79 360 van, down to single dump out in front of driver rear wheel. Running a magnaflow and it has a nice warm sound to it. My 87 318 van has stock manifolds and 18” glass packs, which has a little bite to it and grittier of a sound. I like both, I think I may one day switch the black to a magnaflow however.

well, i ordered header mount glasspaks, been debating to go with an X pipe to true duals, a crossover pipe to a single, or duals laid side by side

The exhaust shop wouldn’t make true duals because I had factory smog stuff on there originally. Once I do some motor work, I want to put on my long tube headers and go true duals. I like the simplicity of it.

I am running headers and true duals with Eldebrook mufflers out the rear behind the flares on my Dodge, I think it sounds nice.
