I may be working a deal on a 1978 G10 Shorty. How challenging would it be to get bumpers ( at least front ). Windshield; all new seals rubbers. Has pop out windows in rear.

Would need a dash rebuild. I hear Just Dashes in Los Angeles do good work. Just doing my homework and I've been out of the loop since 1982. Thanks in advance.

EDITED (because I didn't read the title!)

For the older bumpers, I have seen those sometimes on craiglist for sale by themselves, but not very often. You might have some good luck getting a front and rear from a junkyard though. This is the site I use: https://www.car-part.com/

I can usually find a lot of the older bumpers on there...whether or not the junkyard updates its inventory to match what your search finds...who knows.

Here's the site again: https://www.car-part.com/

I would check there to see what you can find.

Yeah man, I found a good front bumper in the local scrap yard. Haven't looked for a rear yet. If I can't find a rear, I'll make something and get it chromed.

Seals, probably your best bet is Steele Rubber https://www.steelerubber.com/search...=g10&style=3-door-standard-cargo-van

Haven't found a reproduction source for the pop-out window seals, but Scrojira used this stuff in his and it looks like it worked well. Probably going to go the same route on mine. Trim-Lok 6100B3X1-8A

As for the dash, mine is going to need some work as well, but I'm not sure what route I want to go yet. I even have a spare, but it's not in great shape either. I have even mulled over the idea of cutting a dash out of a scrap hot rod in the junkyard or something and making it work. Dunno.
