I want to swap my non tilt column in my 95 g20 to a tilt column from an 88 g20. Are there any fitment issues or year interchange issues?

I haven't dealt much with things like this, but I would guess the sizes would all be the same, should be a simple bolt in swap. My biggest concern would be wiring changes from 1988 wiring standards to the newer 1995 stuff which would probably have a lot more wiring, not to mention the air bag.

First make sure you don't already have tilt. I'm sure you've looked close but I've gotta tell this......
My '94 GMC did not come with the tilt option. BUT there was a rubber plug on the side of the column right below the turn signal lever. Long story short, I popped out the plug, screwed in a lever and I had tilt. Since then I've seen a couple more that were made that way.

I think your '95 and that '88 are gonna be different enough to warrant finding a '95.
