My 77' G20 does not have an overflow tank. I am trying to find one that I can mount up and I have a few questions. I do have a pressurized radiator cap and currently a hose that is coiled up. I am thinking this is leaking coolant under certain conditions. I need to add this tank to see if this stops my coolant leaks.
Do I get an expansion or an overflow tank?
Anyone know one that will mount up in a G20 easily?
Does it need to be mounted in line with the radiator overflow hose? Or should it be above, below?
Some tanks have the hose coming in from the bottom and some at the top? I guess I am confused if this will just end up filling with coolant or if the coolant will flow back into the radiator.
It comes in the bottom as the van get warm coolant goes in to this overflow tank..... as the van cools it goes back into the rad. Go to any junk yard that has a chevy van g10 20 30 they are all the same...
