If I see your van out here in nice and dry Texas... I'm going to buy it. LOL
You're looking for something nice...
I usually hunt projects.
I actually have been keeping you in mind as I shop (I shop for cars almost every day).
Ok, I went to facebook and looked the van up manually.
Is it that pretty blue one in Ellicott City?
I think the van looks great, minus the front bumper being crooked...
If it smokes on startup, has no A/C, and a crooked front bumper...
I think it is overpriced.
I could only see it pulling that kind of money if it was a van with a name that all the vanners know from seeing it at shows.
Even then, not $16,500 with the aforementioned issues.
I'd also have to see how well the grille and tail light conversions were done.
I don't consider myself any kind of an authority on how much vans are worth, and I don't follow the trends.
Besides, I'm in Texas where I could buy an extended G20 cargo van for $1000 probably once a week or so.
But... I think that one is pretty pricey.
$16,500 for an '85 dressed as a pre-'78, with no working A/C, worn valve guides (possibly), and an issue with the bumper.
Not today, Satan!
