Seems a little pricey for this area.
Usually, a short conversion will be shiny for that kind of money, and probably have a V8.

CA is mostly Always pricey for any van. My Dream van is a 1971-1975 G10 Shorty; Ca is the worst for smog & registration requirements. If you see my van out in nice and dry Texas; give me a shout out.

Check out the 1985 LOOKSLO found out in Maryland and tell me what you think about price. It's in "Other Sites for sale section".

*Owner seems straight up guy: The motor smokes at start up then runs nice; AC compressor out and can't validate mileage as well as I would have to take care of emmissions / smog for CA.
The interior is nice; I have photos and have challenges posting them to our forum.

If I see your van out here in nice and dry Texas... I'm going to buy it. LOL
Not really.
You're looking for something nice...
I usually hunt projects.
I actually have been keeping you in mind as I shop (I shop for cars almost every day).

Ok, I went to facebook and looked the van up manually.
Is it that pretty blue one in Ellicott City?

I think the van looks great, minus the front bumper being crooked...
If it smokes on startup, has no A/C, and a crooked front bumper...
I think it is overpriced.
I could only see it pulling that kind of money if it was a van with a name that all the vanners know from seeing it at shows.
Even then, not $16,500 with the aforementioned issues.

I'd also have to see how well the grille and tail light conversions were done.

I don't consider myself any kind of an authority on how much vans are worth, and I don't follow the trends.
Besides, I'm in Texas where I could buy an extended G20 cargo van for $1000 probably once a week or so.
LOL
But... I think that one is pretty pricey.

$16,500 for an '85 dressed as a pre-'78, with no working A/C, worn valve guides (possibly), and an issue with the bumper.
Not today, Satan!
LOL
lol lol

No, but I could probably have one made fairly easily.
lol

Maybe I should name my van that (I call it the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Van, now).

I wish I'd had you around when we named our boat.
We custom ordered a 21' boat back in 2007, and ever since they delivered it, it never lived up to the hopes we had for it.
The performance was fantastic (260 hp V8), but it always had some little thing that got in the way of us having fun with it.
We ended up calling it Kobayashi Maru, after the "unwinnable" combat training scenario in the Star Trek series.

Dream Crusher might have actually been a better name.
lol
