 95 G20 airbag removal question | Joined: Feb 2016 Posts: 27 newbie | OP  newbie Joined: Feb 2016 Posts: 27 | Okay, so I removed the airbag today so I can swap my steering wheel out. I disconnected the battery and let it sit for a bit to drain the charge from the system. Also I unhooked the yellow clip in the harness on the steering column as well as the big clip labeled sir circuit under the dash. I’m still getting an airbag light on though. The airbag circuit runs through the ECM so it triggers the light. There may be a separate fuse for the airbag...try pulling it and see if the light goes out.
