Hello,

I am 52 yo geek, Been watching a lot of Bob Well's video's on YouTube after a workman's comp back injury that left me disabled. I got my hands after a lengthy search found a 2010 Ford Transit Connect with 46k miles for 9k. "dobby" is my van's name (like I said, I am a geek lol)

Still working on converting the van. First thing I added was a Max aire fan because I had a fiberglass camper a few years back and being able to have a fan running while it's raining outside is pretty important...never enough ventilation. Still on the market for 2 rear openable screened windows but I added a pull out couch bed so any point i am out and about, and my back starts screaming I have a 9" thick memory foam mattress so it's super comfortable lol.

A ways back I lived for 10 years on a sailboat till Sandy came through but shortly before I upgraded the fresh water pump to something you could actually shower with. Well boat got totaled, but I was able to remove that nearly new fresh water pump. Well now it's in my van, hooked to a 7 gallon tank and plumbed for an outback rinse off/shower station. I grabbed a 10lb propane tank for cheap when a store was going out of business, have a 1 burner dual gas stove. If winter camping was wanted I have a small wave heater that will roast me out lol.

I am thinking of getting 2 small openable windows with screens for the back 2 windows...anything for light and air. Once I make up my mind, then I can do the inside in white cedar wainscotting over insulation...or at least thats my shiny vision in my head lol

Welcome from Florida. Cool van. Look like you got a great set up going there. Can't wait to see more.

Welcome. Looks like you're making good progress. I used to spend summers in the Bushkill area of the Poconos ( back in the '60's )

Thanks! I started with the important stuff, just looking forward to finishing it up. I get a lot of surprised reactions when people see inside the van lol.
