Browsing Facebook and a post by Terry Woodcock caught my eye. He is the current owner of the original Monster Truck "Cyclops" and owns Freedom Racing which deals with monster truck racing.

So he posted some of the stuff he's been working on in his shop lately, and there sits the giant orange beast in the background.

Looks like they are restoring Rollin' Thunder! YAHOO!!! If you guys are into Monster Trucks, check out Jeff "Wildman" Cook and the Monster Truck Hall of Fame & Museum. He and a bunch of the legends of monster trucks from back in the day have been restoring some of the original trucks for the past few years and have put on some cool displays in Indiana. I definitely want to get up there and check the place out. Hopefully this one ends up there someday.

Yes sir! And real trucks, all different, and all hand built.

The Toyota in the foreground was one of my favorites as an 80s kid, it was called "Fly-N-Hi"

The turquoise Chevy in the middle was originally called "AM/PM Rocket", which changed to "AM/PM Boss", then eventually it changed to one of the "Skoal Bandits" trucks.

The dark blue Chevy dump truck bodied truck is the original "Cyclops".

They are bringing back some seriously cool monster truck history there.

Yep, me too. I loved all I've the 80s through mid 90s monster trucks. When Monster Jam took over I lost all interest in the sport. Getting back into it a little more now that my kids find it interesting and fun, but it's so awesome to watch the guys restore and preserve the originals.

Wish someone would bring the Heavy Metal Ford monster van back to life. There was also a cool Chevy shorty van called "Thor". Not sure where it went either.

Yeah man, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Chromezilla! That thing is so nice.

Here is "Thor". Not very much info or pictures of it around the net.
