I need to check their schedule. I am sure the one here in Beaufort would allow us to camp as well. he doesn't mind when we get a few vans there, as long as we take the back to keep from blocking folks. | | | Re: Onward | Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 9,855 Likes: 234 carpal tunnel | carpal tunnel Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 9,855 Likes: 234 | There's a drive-in not too far from us that allows clubs and overnight camping called Tiger Drive-in....... mmmmmmm. Depending on the date, we could make a road trip outta that ...... About 300 miles. Hit the backroads, overnite at a state park somewhere along the 'vannah river ....... Reckon he would allow coolers? Maybe an EZ-up? | | | Re: Onward | Joined: Oct 2015 Posts: 763 Likes: 50 old hand | old hand Joined: Oct 2015 Posts: 763 Likes: 50 | Depending on the date, we could make a road trip outta that ...... Not sure about the EZ Up, but we typically take a cooler. We leave it in the van and nobody has ever said anything. I know that they updated to the digital systems and kept their admission prices low, so they ask you to not bring outside food and drinks in since the concessions are the money maker.... but they don't sell alcohol, so we still go to the concessions and purchase food and candy while we drink from the cooler. best thing to do if you have questions would be to call or e mail. I have stopped by a few times at lunch and caught the owner there, but its a roll of the dice off hours since they stopped serving lunch. | | | Re: Onward | Joined: Oct 2015 Posts: 763 Likes: 50 old hand | old hand Joined: Oct 2015 Posts: 763 Likes: 50 | | | | Re: Onward | Joined: Aug 2002 Posts: 18,535 Likes: 135 Supreme Master | Supreme Master Joined: Aug 2002 Posts: 18,535 Likes: 135 | I sure wish we had a drive-in around here. It'll have moved on by the time we can hit the road in April and May. Oh, I agree with doing business with the owner. It's the fair thing to do. | | | Re: Onward | Joined: Feb 2018 Posts: 116 Likes: 2 member | member Joined: Feb 2018 Posts: 116 Likes: 2 | I went and saw this movie last weekend with my lady, we both enjoyed it. There are a couple emotional moments regarding the van. It was a fun story overall.

Kid LOVE going, so we try to make at least one trip a summer. Once we get the settled in the new place, we should hopefully be able to make it a more regular thing. Not sure if we will watch the new Onward movie. Kids don't seem to be super interested, which I'm cool with.
We have family movie nights here at the house, and hit the cheap theater on occasion, but we don't do normal cable with the exception of last years world series which the whole family got amped up over so that was fun. I can't complain either, they got more excited about getting the new motor in the van than anything else I suggested for today, so having a blast with that. Ya'll make sure to let me know how it was and we might adjust fire and check it out. | | |
