Mine broke, found source for a new one but while getting broken one out of the retainer the retainer part slipped and fell into the rotating portion of the column cover. Bad news, cant even locate the old one in the column now.

Does anyone have a source for the plastic retainer held in by spring clip in the rotating piece of the columb cover behind indicator housing? Thanks 4 reading.

Its the overdrive auto with the tilt wheel. The other part I need is called the needle carrier. If anyone has a source please pm me. Thanks!

Wow you guys came thru again. I need the plastic carrier this slips into on the column shift bell, unless you can suggest an alternatve to make it fit. This is the issue with the tilt column. Really appreciate ur advice.

Found 2 donor vans, 1 in Jacksonville Fl, 1 in Georgia. Will go with the GA boneyard because they answered the phone and were extremely helpful. What a vacation, spiced up with a pick and pull. Gotta be patient for opportunity to knock. I love finding places like this, makes going away worthwhile!

Ok, 2 dollar entry fee plus 50 cents (yeah fitycents) for the plastic carrier and retainer clip and the lever trim for the ac fan switch. What a sweet boneyard lots of vans: Cash and Carry in Savannah. 14 bucks for the part from Speedway. Thanx lion, frscke and shaggy!

The part from Speedway was not for a tilt wheel even though they said it was. Ended up buying the part on ebay from CHEVYVAN a guy in Holland who prints them and other plastic parts. it was 15 bucks plus a buck fifty to ship. Perfect part even the same color as the dials in the instrument panel got here in about a week.
